Terms of Service

Last updated 8 September 2026

These terms cover using Helixtop. They are written plainly on purpose. If something here is unclear, ask before you rely on it.

What Helixtop is

Software for running a small business: customers, quotations, jobs, stock, bills, money, and messaging your own customers over WhatsApp. We provide the software. What you do with it is yours.

Your account

  • You are responsible for what happens under your logins. Give each person their own.
  • Tell us promptly if you think an account has been misused.
  • You must be entitled to run the business you are using it for.

Your data stays yours

Everything you put into Helixtop belongs to you. We store and process it to run the service for you and for nothing else. You can export it at any time, including on the way out.

Messaging, and the rules that come with it

WhatsApp messaging is subject to Meta's rules as well as ours, and to Indian law. By sending messages through Helixtop you confirm that:

  • The people you message have agreed to hear from you.
  • You will stop messaging anyone who asks you to stop.
  • You will not send anything unlawful, deceptive, or designed to harass.
  • You accept that Meta may rate, limit or block your number based on how recipients react, and that this is Meta's decision and not ours.

We may suspend messaging on an account that is generating complaints, because one business behaving badly puts every other business on the platform at risk.

What you pay

  • A subscription for the software, at the rate agreed when you signed up.
  • Messages, calls and other metered items are charged as they are used, at the rates shown inside the product before you use them.
  • Metered use is paid from a prepaid balance. When it runs out, metered features stop until it is topped up. Nothing else stops.

We will tell you before we change a price. Third-party costs — Meta's message rates in particular — can change on their schedule rather than ours, and we pass those through.

What we promise, and what we do not

We work to keep Helixtop available and correct, and we will tell you honestly when something has gone wrong. We do not promise it will never be unavailable, and we cannot promise anything about services we do not run — Meta, telecom operators, payment providers.

Helixtop is a record-keeping tool. It is not an accountant, a lawyer, or a tax filing service. The figures it produces are there to be handed to a professional, not to replace one.

Limits

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim relating to Helixtop is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits or lost business.

Ending it

You can stop at any time. Export your data first — we will help. We can end an account that breaks these terms, does not pay, or puts the platform at risk, and other than in serious cases we will give you notice and a chance to put it right.

Law

These terms are governed by Indian law, and the courts of Kerala have jurisdiction.
